Privacy policy
Last updated: 3 November 2026. This policy covers the Tiny Habits Village Android app (package com.tinyhabitsvillage.app) and this website.
The short version
- Your routines, village, and notes stay on your phone.
- We collect no personal information, no location, no contacts, no photos, and no health data.
- Usage numbers and crash reports are off until you turn them on, and you can turn them off again.
- There are no ads and no accounts.
Who we are
Tiny Habits Village is made by Marco Signorello, a sole trader based in Spain. Contact: support@tinyhabitsvillage.com.
What stays on your phone
Your routines, completions, village layout, notes, and settings are stored only on your device. You can export them to a file and import them back from Me > Data. You can delete everything from Me > Data at any time. Automatic cloud backup is off.
Optional usage numbers (analytics)
If you turn on usage numbers, the app sends simple counts such as "a routine was completed", never the names or text of your routines. These go to PostHog (EU servers) under a random anonymous id that the app creates. The provider is set to discard IP addresses. You can turn this off at any time in Me > Privacy.
Crash reports
If you turn crash reports on, the app sends the type of error and a scrubbed stack trace to Sentry (EU servers). Personal text is removed before anything is sent. Crash reports are off by default.
Purchases
The optional Unlock is sold through Google Play and handled by RevenueCat. The app checks with the store only when you open the Unlock, restore a purchase, or, if you have bought it, now and then to keep it current. RevenueCat creates an anonymous app user id when you open the Unlock or buy it. Google Play handles your payment details; we never see them.
Reminders and permissions
Reminders use the notification permission, which you grant only if you ask for a reminder. The app does not use location, contacts, camera, microphone, storage, or biometrics.
Waiting list
If you leave your email on the website to hear when the app is out, we store only your email address and the choice you made. It is used only to tell you about the app's release, and you can unsubscribe in any message or by emailing us. The email list is hosted by MailerLite (EU). We delete your address when you unsubscribe or ask us to.
Children
Tiny Habits Village is for people aged 16 and over. The app asks for an age band during setup and is not designed for anyone younger.
Sharing and advertising
We do not sell your data and do not share it for advertising. The providers above act as service providers for the app.
Your choices
You can turn usage numbers and crash reports off, export or delete your data from Me > Data, or uninstall the app to remove everything on your phone. For anything stored by our providers, email us and we will help.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top and, for important changes, tell people in the app.
